This week’s study will focus on “Praying while ministering.: This case study will center on the importance of maintaining an attitude of prayer while at the same time remaining committed to the service of the Lord. The Lord knew that there would be times of frustration in the ministry.
This week’s study will focus on “Praying for a discerning spirit.” God does not want His children to be ignorant of satan’s tactics. The Bible reveals the enemy’s game plan. Old folks had a saying; “God won’t allow the devil to sneak upon God’s child”.
This week’s study will focus on “Praying for God’s Servants”. How would you define the role of a servant? We find these words in Matthew 25:21; “Well done thou good and faithful servant, thou has been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.”
This week’s study will focus on “Why Praying is Essential to Evangelism”. The theme for this year is “Bringing the Outs In”. Many local congregations have been led to believe that reaching the lost is something that just happens. That can be no further from the truth.
This week’s study will focus on “Praying and Repenting.” Sometimes our prayers are hindered by secret sins. This study will focus on the need to acknowledge before God, any unconfessed sins in our lives. After we have confessed our sins there is a second step. We must repent of our sins.
This week’s study will focus on Praying With Purpose.” Sometimes our prayers can be routine repetitions. Jesus emphasized the importance of praying with purpose and with sincerity. Be intentional in your prayer life. God knows your every need. Enjoy your time with God! (Invite a friend to join you).
This week’s study will focus on the only Name that God the Father will honor when we pray. There are many other names in the realm of religion that people call on when they pray such as, Buddha, Confiscus, Zoroaster, Mohammed, Guru, Haire Krishna, and Mary the mother of Jesus (Google these names for more information about them).
Your last study dealt with hindrances and hang ups to prayer. This week’s study will reveal how the Holy Spirit provides the much needed assistance when we pray. Secondly, this study will aid any follower of Christ who desires help in learning how to pray. The followers of Christ asked Jesus this question. “Lord teach us how to pray.”
Your last study dealt with hindrances and hang ups to prayer. This is part two from the Week 2 study. This is a deeper study for the serious prayer warrior. In this study you are to search the scriptures and match one scripture with a particular hindrance. There are eleven hindrances listed below.
Now that you are seeking God by “Stealing Away in Prayer”, be sure to watch as well as pray. Watch out for hindrances and hang-ups to prayer. This study will help you avoid some of the hindrances and hang-ups that interfere with our prayers. We don’t just want our prayers heard; we also want answers to our prayers as well.
